"Hi Mom"....   What a rejuvenating little sound.   While it was not the first words she has vocalized (meow, I love you (to Josh), ow (when her arm was being moved, ) it was certainly music to my ears.....

She seems to be up to about 4.5 minutes of attention span and really still has only ONE major goal - get out that feeding tube....  we have gotten written responses.   She wrote her name on paper so we could show the doctors and therapists.   When asked where she was we got a jibberish response (only to our untrained Angela scribble eyes), when asked where she lives she wrote Seattle, then when asked again where she was on paper, she wrote Seattle, Washingt after drawing the lines to write upon.   Still a highly organized girl.

Signing off as she just told me  YEP when I wrote are you in pain?  so I need to go rustle up the nurse.
