It was a fairly quiet day all filled in with the anticipation of going home for an overnight. OT this morning was focused on arm and leg exercises. We got to watch Angela do tricep extensions with her left arm for the first time. The therapist, Josh and I got much more excited than Angela. Ang kind of looked at us like ...duh...of course I can do this.
Then the rest of the day kind of wore on until the 3:15 PT open gym therapy appointment which was 45 minutes of a variety of leg exercises.
OFF TO HOME! !
Ang did the stairs to her house like a champ. The cat even came fairly quickly to be petted and Mom exited so Ang and Josh could get reacquainted in their new home setting. Josh did an EXCELLENT job rearranging the house to maximize space, flexibility, and coziness.

Background Story
On Tuesday, August 18, 2009, while riding her bicycle to work, Angela was in an accident. Details of how the accident happened are still unclear and the West Seattle Police Dept. is investigating.
Ang was rushed to Harborview and was quickly admitted into the ICU where she has received excellent care from the many doctors and nurses attending her multiple injuries.
This blog is dedicated to keep friends and family updated about the continuing recovery and healing of Angela.
