Angela's Blog

About an hour ago, the speech lady showed up and she got to try her first food.   Applesauce, vanilla pudding, chocolate Ensure.   Not as successful as we hoped so most likely she will have to get the food tube back.

Joyce promised to come back this afternoon and try again.   

In the meantime, Angela played a game of tic-tac-toe where she made all the x's and the o's;  she put the smile (and a mustache) on the circle face where the eyes were drawn in;  she said MEOW when asked what Genghis says;  she wrote ANGELA when asked to write her name, Ang.   The letters were tiny but clear.   

She was doing her own finger stretches this morning along with brushing her hair and washing her face with the washcloth.   Here come the doctors....
