Pretty restless night for Ang last night. She got some pain meds around 3am and got a few hours of sleep. I hope she gets some more sleep this morning since she has such a big day ahead of her.
Now for the exciting news of the morning! I asked Ang to give be a thumbs up if she wanted me to read to her. BIG THUMBS UP! I read her Narnia book to her for a bit and she started to get fidgety so I stopped. Talked to her for a few minutes and I good tell that she was really trying to connect. I told her that my name was Josh and that I was her husband. I asked, "Give me a thumbs up if you know who I am." Another big thumbs up! After that I told her how much I loved her and signed I Love You to her with my left hand, which she immediately returned with her right hand.. I cried like a little girl!
Please pray for another huge step forward with her PT, OT, and ST today. Please also pray that Ang would not be afraid as she becomes more cognizant of her surrounding
