Angela's Blog

My turn for the restless night.  Yikes can this girl move.   I do recall only two weeks ago agreeing with Josh that we would not complain when we moved to  the next step.   We promised to smile because activity is so, so much better than the silence.    At one point last night she was horizontal in the bed.   WOW, promises fade quickly when no sleep occurs.

Ang learned new tricks too.   She can push the bed buttons up and down on her side of the bed.   I never thought I would be thankful that the bed is broken and we can actually dislodge it so it won't work.   I believe she has currently figured out how to maneuver herself so she can scratch the tape on her nose for the feeding tube with the pillow next to her head.    
 
She still signs 'I love you' to Josh.  We are hearing a lot more sounds come out of her.   Pitches have started which is heartwarming and may be regrettable as volume increases....     

I must look pretty bad.  The day nurse just told me that the night nurse reported that Angela's grandmother had spent the night last night.   You know, come to think of it, that night nurse and I did not get along too well.....
